Martin and Gary are joined by a new member this week. Freshly appointed as one of the new league Media Officers, Craig Kendall joins us as he continues his steep learning curve of all things on the west side of the Pennines.
Following on from last week, we bring you the First Division North Squad of the Year and the First Division North Squad of the Year. Even though we are stats based, it brought up some pretty interesting selections that definitely weren’t in our minds at the start.
We also look back on the SGM at Haydock, where sin bins were discussed amongst other things, and the AGM in Blackpool, where we gained four clubs and lost four clubs!
Thanks for your support in the 2018/19 season. See you for 2019/20 which will be our sixth season doing the podcast!
]]>Hot on the heels of last weeks First Divison Squad of the Year, the Counties Podcast crew has once again gone through its shortlist of players to come up with the Premier Division Squad of the Year for the 2017/18 campaign.
After debuting last week, Mark Ashmore takes the reigns for the first time, with Martin Fallon and Gary Langley alongside him to discuss the pros and cons of the shortlisted candidates.
As with the First Division squad, we ultimately pick three Goalkeepers and seven each of Defenders, Midfielders and Forward players. Who makes the cut? And do you agree?
